Cleo vase was born out of a love for craftsmanship. Cleo is handcrafted in a small ceramic studio in Portugal. The beautiful ceramic vase is artisanally made. Cleo has a pure, sophisticated, and timeless look. An exceptionally beautiful object, exceptionally beautifully made!

The exterior of the ceramic vase has a matte texture that highlights the natural beauty of earthenware and the craftsmanship itself. The inside of the vase is glazed.

Vase Cleo has a diameter of 16 cm and is approximately 17 cm high. The opening is approximately 9 cm. Because the vase is handmade, every vase is unique and the dimensions and shape may vary slightly per vase.

Maintenance

Het materiaal

Keramiek ontstaat uit een van de meest pure natuurlijke materialen: klei. Door het vormen en bakken verandert de klei in een sterk en blijvend materiaal, met een heel eigen karakter.

Subtiele verschillen in kleur, structuur en glazuur geven ieder object zijn eigen uitstraling. Juist die natuurlijke nuances maken keramiek warm, tactiel en altijd net even anders.

Vakmanschap

Keramiek krijgt zijn karakter tijdens het maken. De klei wordt met de hand gevormd en afgewerkt, waardoor subtiele sporen van het proces zichtbaar mogen blijven. Geen oppervlak is volledig gelijk en juist kleine verschillen in vorm en structuur laten zien hoe het object is ontstaan.

Na het drogen wordt het keramiek gebakken en krijgt het zijn definitieve vorm en uitstraling. Het resultaat draagt altijd iets van de maker in zich en precies dat maakt handgemaakt keramiek voor ons zo bijzonder.
