Satin mohair cushion cover Sara is Amy's elegant little sister: equally refined, but with a subtle sheen and a flatter pile. The front of the cover is made of satin-finished, Cradle to Cradle® Bronze-certified 100% mohair: the hair of South African Angora goats. These goats are meticulously cared for, and because these animals live in only a few locations worldwide, the material is highly exclusive.
The fabric is a velvet with a flat pile, creating a calm, even texture and a soft sheen that plays beautifully with light. Compared to its sister, Amy, Sara is smoother and slightly glossier, a choice for those who appreciate a more refined, satiny elegance.
The goat hair is processed in a Dutch weaving mill into a beautiful mohair velvet with a low pile. This fabric has a luxurious satiny sheen that feels soft and smooth. The front of the Sara cushion cover is made of this beautiful mohair velvet, while the back is made of grey-beige blended recycled polyester. Very stylish, refined, and beautifully combinable.
This decorative cushion is available in several rich mohair colors. The cushion cover measures 50x50 cm and features a tone-on-tone concealed zipper.
The Sara decorative cushion cover does not include an inner cushion. Would you prefer the cushion cover with filling? That's possible: we sell matching inner cushions with all our cushion covers.
Washing instructions:
We do not recommend washing the mohair cushion cover in the washing machine. Any stains can be gently cleaned with a slightly damp cloth and lukewarm water. Lightly dab the stain with the damp cloth. Use minimal moisture and dab in the direction of the pile; never rub. To prevent discoloration or rings, we recommend treating the entire side in this way. For stubborn stains, a special interior shampoo or dry shampoo can be used, following the manufacturer's instructions.
